The KP-53HS10 is composed of features that enhance your entertainment experience as you watch. It is not your typical TV - it's a Sony.Unlike many projection TVs, which require the electron beam to pass through the front surface of the mirror twice, KP-53HS10 features Sony's First Surface Mirror technology, which means that the beam reflects off only the front surface. This results in improved resolution, brightness and color reproduction. This TV also features MICROFOCUS picture tubes and lenses, Advanced Video Processor, Dynamic Picture processor, Dynamic Focus circuitry and Trinitone color temperature adjustment. DAC Speaker System provides resonance bass response while midrange sounds are pumped forward to ensure clear dialog reproduction. Other audio features include MTS stereo TV decoder with DBX noise reduction and TruSurround Virtual Dolby surround. Multi-Image Driver converts broadcast signal to VGA (640x480) format, displaying picture at VGA scan rate. It allows for features such as Flexible twin picture and Freeze Mode that lets viewer to freeze what's on screen and view it in PIP window while programming continues on the main screen.
